| Galileo's office is well-furnished and somewhat disorganized, covered in office toys and trinkets. In the center of the room is a large teak desk with a small silver nameplate, 'Galileo Lukas, CEO' sitting on top of it. Underneath that is a picture of what looks like it should be Galileo and a smaller figure: it looks to have been drawn in crayon by a five year old, and you reason it must be the doing of one of his kids. He must love his family: displayed prominently beside the nameplate are two photos, one of Galileo, his wife and two young children, and the other of his wedding photo. Beside that is a glass of water and a drinking bird toy on one side and a stack of books on the other, mostly on the mythology of the world. A cat lounges on the desk, snoozing on the large desk appointment calendar that spreads over the rest of the tabletop, just next to the netbook that lies closed on the edge of the desk and the phone that sits on the opposite side, behind the drinking bird. An ergonomic swivel chair is pushed in to the desk: it is brown and looks comfy. Behind Galileo's desk is a large window, covered with photos of his family and house, as well as a few more of his children's drawings. On the left side of the room is a large bookshelf covered in more books and toys, too many to name. You can't seem to count how many books are on the shelf, so you deduce that it's probably a magic shelf that never runs out of room. In front of the shelf is a stack of parcels, bags, and letters, as well as other items that need to be taken care of, either delivered to the proper god, repaired by the proper mystical species of smith, or disposed of. The other side of the room has a giant world map with pins stuck in it, beside a smaller map that shows only the city. | |
